Frequently Asked Questions
What are the minimum requirements to get an Immersve Card?
You will fund your account with USDC stablecoin held on the Polygon PoS network. If you do not already hold USDC on the Polygon PoS network within your non-custodial wallet then you may obtain some via an exchange or by bridging USDC held on Ethereum to the Polygon PoS layer 2 network.
At this time, we only accept cardholder applications from New Zealand residents. In making an application for an account, you must produce evidentiary documentation during a KYC (know your customer) process as required under New Zealand anti-money laundering and countering financing of terrorism regulations.
What currencies and blockchains can be used to fund my account?
At this time we support USDC held on the Polygon PoS network.. We expect to add support for further USDC-supporting chains in the near future and we will update our website and let our cardholders know when we make these changes.
How secure is my card?
We offer two card types; a single-use card for the purpose of making a specific online purchase, and a multi-use card which operates more like a traditional card and can be used in store when added to your Apple Pay or Google Pay wallet.
A single-use card is a low-risk way of making online purchases. Your card is created for a single transaction and if unused the card expires within 10 minutes. Cards are invalidated after their intended usage or expiry; whichever comes first.
Multi-use cards may be added to your Google Pay or Apple Pay wallet and carry the same risk as a normal credit or debit card. We recommend you take the usual steps to keep your card details secure and advise us as soon as you think your card details have been compromised or you suspect fraudulent activity.
What fees will I pay for an Immersve card?
There are no charges for the application and issuance of your Immersve card. The applicable blockchain transaction fees will apply when invoking the smart contract to fund the card. You may also incur a foreign currency conversion fee when using your card for foreign currency transactions.
