Google Pay™ terms of use
Effective: 5 December 2024
These terms are in addition to:

- Our General Terms of Use
By adding your eligible card, issued by Immersve, to your Google Wallet you are agreeing to and complying with the following terms:
- Immersve can vary these terms of use at any time, where a change is required:
- For security purposes and to protect against fraud
- For a change to our systems or business
- For implementing improvements to the Google Wallet service
We will provide you with 14 days notice of any change, except where it is not reasonable to do so. No notice, or notice after the change has taken effect may be given where the change is outside of our control or required to meet specific regulatory requirements. Notice of Change will be published on our website.
- If you continue to use your card or add cards to your Google Wallet, you will be deemed to have accepted any change to these terms. If you do not accept the changes you must stop using your card or adding any further cards to your Google Wallet.
- We may withdraw Google Wallet as a service at any time.
Adding your card to Google Wallet
To be eligible to add your card to Google Wallet and pay with Google Pay, you must:
- Have an eligible card
- Be using an eligible Android device. Google determines the eligible devices for Google Wallet and Google Pay payment types
- Eligible card types can manually be added to your Google Wallet by following the steps outlined in the Google Wallet App.
- You can remove your card(s) at any time by following the “remove payment” in the Google Wallet.
Using your card with Google Pay
Once you have added your card(s) to the Google Wallet you may make payments using Google Pay wherever contactless payments can be made. Cards added to Google Wallet may not be accepted outside of the United Kingdom or European Economic Area.
You can also use Google Pay in apps or when shopping online, wherever you see the Google Pay icon at checkout. You will not be able to withdraw cash at an ATM.
You may be required to enter your PIN into the terminal or sign for contactless transactions over certain minimum transaction limits. The PIN will be the PIN you selected when applying for your card.
Subject to the Cardholder Terms of Use, we may immediately suspend, modify, block, restrict, terminate or withdraw your ability to use a your card to make transactions using Google Wallet at any time, at our sole discretion and for any reason, including where we suspect unauthorised or fraudulent transactions have occurred or been attempted. You should always ensure that you have alternative payment capability available to you should your card be unavailable for use in Google Wallet.
Disputed transactions
Refer to the Cardholder Terms of Use for your applicable card for the terms relating to disputed or unauthorised transactions.
Fees and Charges
We will not charge you for adding your card to the Google Wallet.
Fees and charges may apply for using your card to make a Google Pay transaction and you may be charged by third party parties. You are responsible for meeting these charges if they occur.
Security
You are responsible for the security of your Android device. Anyone who can access your device may be able to make a Google Pay transaction. If you or any other person has biometric identification login enabled on your Android device, this may be used to enable the Google Wallet and make a Google Pay payment.
You are responsible for the removal of any card(s) from your Google Wallet prior to the sale or disposal of the device.
If your Google Pay enabled device is lost or stolen, contact us immediately so that we can delete the card from your device.
The liability for any unauthorised transactions made with your Android device is covered in the Cardholder Terms of Use. As soon as you become aware of any theft, unauthorised access of your device you must notify us immediately.
Privacy
Our privacy policy sets out how we store, use and protect your personal information.
You also agree that by adding your card to the Google Wallet and making transactions through Google Pay, Google will be provided with your name, card details, phone number, address details and transaction details. This information is provided for the purpose of adding your card to the Google Wallet and for making Google Pay payments.
In addition, Google will provide us information about you. This includes information about your Android device, Google Wallet details, personal and location information. This information is provided to better enable customer support, resolution of disputes and enhancing fraud models.
Google may store this information outside of Lithuania.
If you don’t agree to this use and storage of your information you should not add your card to the Google Wallet App.
You should also read Google’s privacy policy. We are not liable for any loss you may suffer in connection with Google’s use of your personal information.
Liability
Google Pay and Google wallet are provided by Google. We are not responsible for the functionality or availability of Google Pay, Google Wallet or your Android device. We are not liable for merchant locations, the compatibility of their contactless terminal or for any reduced level of service resulting from the failure of third party communications and network providers.
You agree that you will be responsible for all transactions made using your card in the Google Wallet following successful login to your device. In particular, you agree that each time your device registers a login to perform a transaction using your card in the Google Wallet, you instruct us to perform that transaction in accordance with these Terms and the Cardholder Terms of Use.
Indemnity
You indemnify, and will keep indemnified, Immersve against all actions, proceedings, losses, liabilities, damages, claims, demands, costs and expenses (including all legal costs and expenses) suffered or incurred by Immersve, or for any claim brought against Immersve by a third party, that arises out of, or in connection with, your use of a card with Google Pay.
General
In the event of any inconsistency between these Google Wallet Terms and Conditions, and any other terms and conditions that apply to your use of products and services, these Google Wallet Terms and Conditions will prevail, but solely in relation to your use of Google Pay.
These Terms are governed by Lithuanian Law and the courts of Lithuania shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction
